Celebrating the sweet debut of my twin granddaughters' 1st year! This date marks my official, slightly-terrifying first attempt at royal icing cookies. I chose the vibrant The Very Hungry Caterpillar theme, which meant dealing with seven different colors of frosting. The final cookies were adorable, though I believe my kitchen looked like a confetti explosion sponsored by powdered sugar and pure determination.
